### **Step 6: Understanding Connection Types**

There are two types of connections to third-party platforms:

* **Auto Connect**: If the dApp supports **Safe Wallet**, your Pot will connect automatically.
* **Wallet Connect**: Requires a manual connection.

### **Step 6.1: Connecting via Wallet Connect**

If the platform requires Wallet Connect, follow these steps:

1. Click **"Open DApp"** and look for the **"Connect Wallet"** button.
2. Select **"Wallet Connect"** as the connection method.

3. Copy the **WalletConnect URL** (displayed in the pop-up).

5. Approve the connection request.
6. Your Pot is now connected.

*Note:* If **Wallet Connect** does not appear in the **Connect Wallet** menu, click **"All Wallets"**, then locate and select **Wallet Connect**. Each platform has a different UI. We are using Kodiak as an example.

### **Step 6.1:** Special Instructions for Bro.trade

> bro.trade is a Wallet Connect-compatible dApp with unique setup steps. Please follow the instructions below to connect and trade properly using your Pot.

**1. Deposit Funds First**

After connecting your Pot via Wallet Connect, you **must deposit at least `5 HONEY`** manually to start trading.

* Click the **"Deposit Funds"** button inside bro.trade.\

* Choose `HONEY` as your asset.\
  ![](/files/H28sYCrPBKLCErpMDmK3)
* Ensure you keep at least `1 HONEY` in your Pot for the next step.

**2. Enable 1-Click Trading (1CT)**

Because Berally uses a **smart contract wallet**, you are required to **enable "1-Click Trading" (1CT)** in bro.trade to allow automated trade execution.

* Go to the **Advanced 1CT** setup section.
* A **one-time fee of `1 HONEY`** will be deducted directly from your Pot.
* This authorizes bro.trade to perform trades on your behalf using the smart contract wallet.

**3. Save the 1CT Private Key**

Once enabled, bro.trade will generate a **1CT Private Key** — this is your signer for future trading sessions.\

* Save this key in a secure place.
* If you log in from another device or browser:
  * Re-enter the saved key to reuse the setup **without paying another fee**.
  * If you lose it, you can simply generate a new one by paying the `1 HONEY` fee again.
* **Note:** The 1CT key does **not control your funds**. It only authorizes transaction signing for your smart wallet.
